I’m a Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley, advised by Amy Pavel. I design, develop, and evaluate interactive systems that embed generative AI into how people author text, images, audio, and video. My systems let creators direct AI at the level they think about their work, preserve their own style, and draw on their creative process.

I received my M.S. degree in CS from the University of Texas at Austin, and my B.S. degree in CS from University of Bayreuth in Germany, where I was fortunate to be advised by Daniel Buschek, and by David Lindlbauer and Dominik Moritz during a research visit at Carnegie Mellon University. I am a scholar of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation.

I interned at Adobe Research (x2), where I worked on agentic audio editing and AI filmmaking.
